Contact Hours Requirements: Attendance at entire learning activity and participation in role play/simulation with successful return demonstration of communication and relationship building techniques for 1.5 contact hours

Learning Outcome: As a result of participating in this activity, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify types of sleep apnea associated with stroke.

  • Describe evidence-based guidelines for screening and interventions for sleep apnea in stroke survivors.

  • List benefits of early treatment of sleep apnea in stroke survivors.
